Fabolous may have taken a step back from his place in rap's mainstream, but that doesn't mean he's curbed his famously lavish spending. The Brooklyn rapper has turned it in an endearing direction, reportedly purchasing his 7-year-old son two Rolexes, worth a combined total of $34,000, for Christmas.

According to Page Six, the artist born John Jackson purchased his son, Johan, two different pieces: a 26mm two-tone Datejust worth $12,500, and a 26mm 18k yellow gold Presidential that runs a cool $21,500. Both were reportedly purchased from Rafaello & Co., a New York City jeweler.

And material goods weren't the only thing Johan got for the holidays. A few days ago, it was reported that Fab had turned his boy's bedroom into a replica WWE wrestling ring. (The rapper had described his son as "obsessed" with the sport.)

Fab has been teasing a sequel to last year's The Young OG Project; the second installment is now expected to drop in February after a brief promotional run. This comes in the wake of his fall mixtape, Summertime Shootout, which repurposes beats from some of today's most popular songs, including those by The Weeknd. The format hearkens back to his near-legendary run on the early-2000s mixtape circuit, where he joined Tri-state area rappers like 50 Cent and Joe Budden in establishing himself by hopping on existing instrumentals.
