Eminem is one of the more controversial rappers in hip-hop history. He's also so popular that a song of his appears in a newly released trailer for Despicable Me 3, which is, by definition, a kids movie. Dope.

The song featured is called "So Bad," and it comes from Slim Shady's 2010 effort, Recovery. It's a more easy going track from Marshall, but with an F-bomb riddled hook, it's clearly not the stuff of kids' movies.

"So bad, I’m so good that I’m so bad/Guarantee I’ll be the greatest thing you ever had/‘Cause you ain't never met nobody like me/And you ain't gonna wanna fuck nobody else again/So bad, I’m so good that I’m so bad/Guarantee I’ll be the greatest thing you ever had/‘Cause you ain't never met nobody like me/And you ain't gonna wanna fuck nobody else again," Em raps in the hook for the song.

The version that plays throughout the latest Despicable Me 3 trailer mostly focuses on the "So Bad" instrumental and the space between when Em says "So bad, I'm so good" and the next time he says "so bad." In the trailer, we see the words, "It's good to be bad" pop up, and it's pretty fitting for a film series that follows a villain learning to be good before ultimately using his skills in villainy to prevent disaster.

This isn't the first time a rap game luminary has played a big role in the promotion of a Despicable Me film. Back in 2013, Pharrell produced and recorded "Happy" for the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack.
