Someone recently flew a drone over Cohoes Falls, videoing its topography in HD quality.  Who knew it was this stunning?

Certainly not me, but I'm glad I got to see it now.

The two-minute video titled "Over the Falls" was uploaded on YouTube sometime in the middle of May by Zabihs World and it caught my attention because up until now, I had never seen the Falls before - not like this anyway.

Perhaps someone can explain why Niagara Falls gets as many as 30 million tourists a year, while Cohoes Falls literally has no tourism.

We've screengrabbed some of the more striking images, and added some interesting tidbits to go along with the following photos.

In an airbnb world, this may be one of the most genius ideas I have seen. Swimply has been around for a few years now and they basically apply the host rental strategy to pools: you can visit the website to find someone's backyard pool near you that you can rent by the hour. Many of these sweet backyard getaways also feature other great amenities like firepits, grills, and more. So the next time you want to cool off for an afternoon, avoid the crowded city pools and rent one of these backyard stunners!
