A Dad dressed up in a Nazi uniform for Halloween and dressed his kid as a Nazi as well. He was shocked when people reacted negatively about the outfit. He credits the costume to a history lesson for his son. Here is how it all happened according to News 10.

A picture of Bryant Goldbach of Owensboro and his son was posted online and has been sparking outrage. Bryant Goldbach dressed as a Nazi soldier and his son as Adolf Hitler during Owensboro’s Trail of Treats event.

Goldbach says he originally did it for historical purposes but admits he didn’t think through his idea.

"Anyone who knows us knows that we love history and often dress the part of historical figures," Goldbach wrote on social media.

Goldbach claims he received snide remarks and his son was threatened for wearing the costume at the event Thursday evening.

He was so surprised that people were offended so he took it straight to Facebook to see if he could get any "sympathizers".

"Tonight grown adults threatened a child over his costume," Goldbach wrote on social media. "Threatened to rip his outfit off of him, screaming obscenities, scaring a small child."

It amazes me how people do things that are blatantly racist or offensive and then act like they are surprised when they get the attention that they were looking for in the first place. From acting shocked when people are offending by blackface to wearing a Nazi uniform, these are all random acts of racism. In most cases, the offender acts surprised when people are offended.

It seems like Halloween always exposes the undercover white supremacist. I don't buy for one second that this man didn't know what he was doing. I think most of these racial incidents are people/companies who just want attention and they act surprised when someone calls out or notices their racism.

He should've just worn a dunce cap that would've been the perfect historical outfit for him and his son.
