In an effort to help stop the spread during the Covid-19 pandemic, CDTA will now be requiring patrons to use the rear door of the buses for entry and exit.

Its clear that many people still utilize public transportation in the capital region. Although ridership is low due to the Corona Quarantine in place, there are still a good number of folks still catching the bus. Essential workers such as healthcare workers, grocers, sanitation, state workers, etc rely on the buses to get to and from work. Not to mention those who catch the bus to buy groceries.

In addition to practicing social distancing, the rear-dear boardings is a temporary policy put in place to help protect bus operators and customers. Patrons who have wheel chairs or require special needs will still be allowed to board through the front door. For more info visit CDTA
