You can drive a car. You can drive an SUV. You can drive a van. But can you handle the behemoth that is a BIG YELLOW SCHOOL BUS??? Put yourself to the test on Saturday May 21st. It may not be as hard as you think and it could bring you a pretty sweet paycheck.

One school district is going to have buses ready for you to jump behind the wheel of to see if you've got the skills.

It's no secret that schools have had an extremely difficult time over the past year dealing with a shortage of bus drivers. Some schools have had to cancel routes, even classes because there weren't enough drivers to pick up the kids. But you can help change all that and make the next school year run much more efficiently for the kids.

On Saturday from 9am to 12pm the Ballston Spa School District will hold its 'Come Test-Drive a Bus Day'. You'll be able to get behind the wheel of a big yellow bus and see how it feels (I would imagine its a very powerful feeling). Current drivers will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

If driving a bus isn't for you, there are other positions available including bus attendants and substitute drivers (that way you won't have to drive that often).

The event will take place at the Ballston Spa School District's Transportation location, at 1458 Saratoga Rd.
