Big Sean Recreates Martin in ‘Play No Games’ Video
Possible video of the year?
This was already one of my favorite songs off of Big Sean's Dark Sky Paradise album, infusing the melodic sample of Guy's "Piece of My Love." With the treatment that director Mike Carson gave the visual, this makes me love it even more.
In the video, Big Sean takes on the main role of Martin and Chris Brown plays Cole. They run through a couple of classic scenes from different episodes, from Big Sean making everyone in the apartment "Get 'ta steppin,'" to little Roscoe knocking on the door interrupting Martin & Gina's alone time. Even Bruh Man From the 5th (4 fingers) floor makes an appearance, coming through the window.
It did not hurt to have additional guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana, and the man himself, actor/comedian/producer extraordinaire, Martin Lawrence.
And that Malcolm X leather Breezy had on? FIRE.
