The Albany Empire had a hell of a tenure in the Capital Region. They came and went within a two-year time period.

AFL football made the return to the Capital Region with a new franchise called the Albany Empire. I was the DJ for both the 2018 season and the 2019 season. They actually won the 2019 AFL Championship during the 2019 season, making them the final AFL champions because the league went bankrupt.

During the games, I would play all the music and sound effects, basically setting the vibe up for the entire game. I made people laugh, sing, dance, boo. I was responsible for mostly everything you heard. While scrolling through IG, I noticed that everyone on the staff got championship rings... except me and the Albany Empresses. What is going on here?

I know I deserved a ring probably more than some of the people who I have seen get championship rings. The DJ is always the forgotten element and sets the vibe—why are we always neglected?

I know it's not that serious, and no one cares about an AFL ring except for the people who participated. Well, I did participate and did a great job enough to lead the team to a championship. That might be a little cap, but maybe they just forgot or didn’t know my address to send me a ring. I don’t know how they don’t know the address to the radio station, they can send my ring here. I don’t really expect anything to happen because the team is bankrupt.
