Black Friday is changing right before our eyes. Several years ago Black Friday was all about stores offering insane deals in order to get people in long lines in the early hours of the morning to fight over free stuff. In the past couple of years, stores have just started Black Friday early on Thanksgiving Day.

A lot of consumers complained about the practice citing it is unfair to the employess. Stores responded by opting out of the pre-Black Friday holiday. Here is the list of stores that will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Some of these stores are opening up on Black Friday but they have decided to opt out of the Thanksgiving Day sales. I personally think some stores should be open on Thanksgiving not everyone celebrates the holiday, its a huge inconvenience for the people who don't celebrate to have any options other than to go to the movies.
