Once again we see grown men allegedly taking advantage of young girls. Two men have been arrested for their sexual interaction with an underage girl in Saratoga County.

According to News 10, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, two men were recently arrested for allegedly drugging and raping an under age girl earlier this year.

Law-enforcement officers report that 21-year old Vincent Avila and 25-year old Michael May were both arrested with serious allegations of child abuse.

The two men are accused of taking a 16-year girl to a hotel room in Malta overnight on January 27 and January 28. The two men allegedly gave the young girl alcohol and drugs and then proceeded to have sexual contact with her and recorded the incident on their cell phones.

On April 7, 2021 Vincent Avila was arrested and charged with Rape, Criminal Sex Act, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Sex Act, Endangering the Welfare of a Chid, Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, and Petit Larceny. Mr. Avila received an additional chargers-one count of the Criminal Sex Act for allegedly having sexual contact with a child and one count of Petit Larceny for allegedly taking the victim’s personal property and disposing of them.

Mr. Avila was taken to the Town of Malta Justice Court where he was arraigned and then he was transported to the Saratoga County Jail where he is being held.

On April 8, Mr. Michael May was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Rape and Use of a Child in a Sexual Act. He was arraigned in the Town of Malta and he was released after posting $1000 in cash for bail.
