I’ve always loved the slogan “do what you love, love what you do”. That seems easy enough on the surface, but as people, we change, and when we change, so do our heart’s desires.

For anyone who knows me, they know that I have always loved music. I love listening to music and I especially love playing music. I’ve been a DJ for all of my adult life, and I’ve enjoyed most of it.

With life, each of us have to take self-inventory from time to time to make sure we are still being the best version of ourselves. We have to make sure that we are doing good in this world, but we must also make sure that we are fulfilling the things that we really want to do each day.

I constantly ask myself if I still love what I do. Most of the time I can say yes, but like anything else in life, there are good days and there are bad days.

Times are changing, people are changing, and the world around us is changing. But still, we must each continue to be able to say yes, I still love what I do. If we can’t say that we love what we do, then it is time for us to make some changes.

I want each of you to take a moment and reflect on that. Ask yourself if you enjoy your life and enjoy what you are doing. Sure, it may be a little scary to step out on faith and start a new path. This world is full of doors that we can open for ourselves each day. Are you doing what you love? If you’re not, what are you willing to change?
