Chicago Rapper Lil Durk turned himself in on Thursday after Atlanta police put out a warrant for his arrest. Reported from Atlanta Channel 2 News, Lil Durk, who real name is Durk Derrick Banks is being charged with five felony charges in connection to a shooting that took place at a restaurant back in February. Charges includes; Criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, participation in a criminal street gang and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Durk's lawyer tells news reporters, that he is innocent and denies any involvement in the incident in question.
Back in February police was called after shots rang out outside The Varsity restaurant, at the intersection of North Avenue and Spring Street. According to Atlanta Police Department a young man, twenty-three-year-old, male was shot in the thigh by the name of Alexander Weatherspoon. Investigators say, Weatherspoon was shot in a parking lot and collapsed in front of a nearby cigar lounge. He was rushed to Atlanta Medical Center for surgery after the bullet hit a artery, says the police report. Police  discovered 13 shell casings from a pistol and a rifle and also a 9 mm handgun was  found at the scene. The shooting was captured on footage camera from both the restaurant and the cigar bar lounge, according to investigators.

Atlanta police spokesman reports, the rapper Lil Durk hasn't been mentioned in the report and investigators have not found an official relationship between Weatherspoon and Lil Durk. But on Friday Banks was denied bond, according to the Fulton County Sheriff Office. Manny Aroa, Durk's lawyer is in the process for filing a new bonds motion as he maintains his innocence. He remains in the Fulton County jail.

“He’s got a multi-million dollar salary music career going,” Arora said, while also denying that his client is involved in a street gang.
The alleged victim Weatherspoon was later arrested in Chicago on April 1st and is being currently held at Cooks County Jail without bond record show charges is unclear. Something sounds little snitchy if you ask me. If investigators claim Lil Durk has not in mentor in connection with the shooting and they have video footage, why is Lil Durk being held without bond?
