Chris Brown Accused of Threatening Woman With a Gun
Chris Brown will be arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, reports CBS L.A.
LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division detectives are currently serving a search warrant at Chris Brown's home. No arrests have been made as of yet, but at least half a dozen people have come out of the house, some of them with their hands behind their head. “We’re getting the cooperation of everyone that came out,” says Lt. Chris Ramirez, who held a brief press conference with news reporters around 4:30 p.m. E.S.T.
Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos showed up just before 1 p.m. E.S.T. You can watch a livestream of what's happening at Brown's house above.
The girl who made the call, Baylee Curran, is a former 2016 Miss California Regional winner, and she now says she had a gun put to her head:
She also have an interview to TMZ, giving her side of the story:
Now TMZ reports that police have found weapons and drugs at Chris Brown's home after he threw a duffel bag out a window.
A SWAT team has now reportedly been dispatched to the home where Chris Brown is, reports TMZ. The LAPD is also in the process of obtaining a search warrant for the house to find the gun and see if it matches the description the young woman gave to police.
Chris is currently on Instagram posting videos about how police are outside his crib and he has no idea what's going on. Watch those below.
TMZ reports that police are waiting for Chris outside of his home right now. They've also updated their report to say that Ray J was at the house where the incident occurred.
According to TMZ, Ray J was getting a tattoo at the crib when a man who was an invited guest showed up with two women who were not invited. The uninvited guests were reportedly asked to leave, and one of them is the woman who filed the report against Brown, claiming he pulled a gun on her.
Police are apparently knocking on the door, but there's yet to be an answer.
The woman called 911 and told them he pulled a strap on her in an L.A. home early Tuesday morning (Aug. 30). Police responded, pulled up to the house and took a report. Now Chris is being investigated for criminal assault, and he's the only suspect so far.
Over the weekend, Breezy posted a picture to Instagram thanking Lil Wayne after Brown paid a visit to Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans. But while thanking Weezy, he also had words for other rappers: “Supported my favorite rapper last night in NEW ORLEANS BIG BRO FOR LIFE @liltunechi if it wasnt for him a lot of these fake ass rappers wouldn’t get an opportunity. Real friends don’t depend on record sales or cosigns. Day 1 family.”
C. Breezy has been hard at work as of late. The 27-year-old Virginia native recently dropped the music video for “Grass Ain’t Greener,” the track that’s had the radio on smash over the past few months. Say what you want about the dude’s personality, but you can’t deny that he cooks up some heat every time he hits the studio.
