518 Hip Hop

The weekend is super close, hallelujah!! Some of us have not penciled in one plan yet for our weekends, and may have no idea what to do!! Well, I've got something for you, ESPECIALLY if you are a fan of our local hip hop and music scene here in the 518!

Tomorrow night the place to be for 518 homegrown, organic, healthy hip hop is Bogies for the Climate Control Fall Edition album release, finale style!! Our very own Albany natives straight from our backyard, Shyste and Deejay Tone will be throwing on this hell of a show, and they want you to come on down and find out what all the fuss is all about!

I will tell you some of the fuss is that Smif-n-Wessun will be in the hizzy! I took you back with that huh? 1994, my god! Remember "Bucktown?" Yep, that's them and they will be doing their dam thang on stage, giving us music - old and new!

Also owning the stage will be more 518 super talent, names like, well, Shyste of course, Animal Cracker, the Iron Bar Collective crew and many, many more fellaz on the M.I.C sharing with us their lyricist skills.

The info I just gave you is only the tip of the iceberg, you will just have to go to the show to dig deeper into this hip hop madness!! Gotta be 18+, doors open at 8, tickets $17 at Bogies.
