Tulip Fest & Mother’s Day Weekend!

It's that time of year again!  Time to pay tribute to the wonderful mom's of the cap region & time to come out & check out the pretty tulips in Albany's Washington Park.  So if you're lookin for something to do this gorgeous spring weekend, Tulip Fest is May 9th & 10th.

The weather's finally lookin better out there!  Seems like it took an eternity for the sunshine but now that we got it, it's definitely time to break out the summer gear & take it to the streets & parks of the cap region!

Albany's 67th Annual Tulip Festival goes down all this weekend in Albany's Washington Park, May 9th & 10th.  It always marks the unofficial start to summer here in the cap region while recognizing the great moms for Mother's Day.  There's always music, performances, plenty of multicultural food vendors with all kinds of ways to break that spring diet & a ton of arts & craft vendors on hand as well as local jewelry shops & markets. And don't forget the coronation of the 2015 Tulip Queen!

Whether you feel like having a picnic, shopping, eating or chillin with ya BFF's & mommy, Tulip Fest is a fun day for everyone with plenty to do! Best of all it's free & open to the public!
