We're only one day shy of the weekend, and there's lots to do- from family-friendly events to scary Halloween fun. Take a look at some of the cool places to be and things to do this weekend in the Capital District.

1.) Tru-Terror attraction is now open and ready for family and friends to visit. It's known as the Capital District's most terrifying attraction to date. It's home of a local serial killer, "The Butcher," and his two demented sisters. Tru-Terror is located in Via Port mall in Rotterdam. Make this a whole day of fun as you get a 2-for-1 deal. Enjoy the haunted house along with the full-blackout maze.
