Tuesday our American Idol, Madison Vandenburg, came home to an amazing celebration as she is one of the final three to win the show. There was a pep rally at her high school and she put on a free concert at the Crossings. Her reaction to it all was priceless.

The journey started months for Cohoes teen Madison VanDenburg. Along this American Idol trek, she remained consistent  humble and true to herself.  While the final chapter of this story has yet to be written, she's just a few pages away from closing the book on a remarkable run that has captivated the Capital Region while building a foundation for a career that has seemingly unlimited potential. A new restaurant chain is opening another location in the Capital Region!

If you missed it last week Natia Shim had a horrific attack where white supremacist drove her off of the road an vandalized her car while threatening to kill her and her 17 year old son.

I took a trip over to the new Elevation Burger in Latham. The food was great I had to bring in the owners who are local businessmen, Zubair Ahmed and Azam Khan, to talk a little bit more about the new restaurant.

Two more local K-marts have been added to the list of those closing.

Farewell to yet another staple of the town of Latham, Latham Circle Mall.  The mall has been dead for years & demolition began in March to tear the old mall down to bring two outdoor shopping centers, The Shoppes of Latham.
