Albany Empire

The AFL is closing all 6 of if local operations including 2019 champion, Albany Empire.

In case you haven't heard, the Albany Empire arena football team will be competing in the Arena Bowl championship game! The game is this Sunday 8/11 at the TU. The block party starts at 3 and kickoff is at 8.

It's that time of year again, for the second year the Albany Empire is holding open tryouts.

I love Albany.  It's where I was born.  It's where I have lived pretty much all my life,  including now.  But I have to admit it felt like Albany was sagging - losing to all of the major cities that comprise the Capital Region - and it was getting a little depressing...

So it's official Hot 991's own DJ Supreme will be the official DJ for the inaugural Albany Empire season check out the press release
