So, it's official. Hot 991's own DJ Supreme will be the official DJ for the inaugural Albany Empire season. Check out the press release:

ALBANY, NY – The Albany Empire announce that DJ Supreme will be the official DJ of the Albany Empire for the inaugural season.

Currently the afternoon host and brand manager for local hip-hop radio station, Hot 99.1, DJ Supreme will be in charge of the music played at Albany Empire home games this season.
“We intend to provide the supreme entertainment experience to fans when they come to an Empire game and playing the right music at the right time is critical to executing this vision,” said VP Business Operations George Manias. “DJ Supreme is world class DJ with a proven history of entertaining the masses, and we know he will keep Empire fans rocking all season long.”

Supreme began his DJ career at the young age of 15 at a club in Maryland. After his debut, he made his way all over the east coast making a name for himself on the turntables. Following his passion for music, Supreme attended Delaware State University, where he earned degrees in both radio and television production.
After spending time beginning his radio career in Baltimore, DJ Supreme made his way to Amarillo, Texas where he took a job with 93.1 The Beat. During his time in Amarillo, Supreme took on a position as a DJ in indoor football with the Amarillo Dusters.
“There is nothing more exciting than arena football coming back to Albany!” Said DJ Supreme. “I am so happy to be able to provide the soundtrack for this legendary season. Let’s make the Empire Supreme!”
After his tenure in Texas, Supreme spent the next few years working in radio in North Carolina and New York City. Supreme made his way up to Albany to take over the Brand Manager position for Hot 99.1. Throughout his time in Albany, Supreme has helped 99.1 become a staple as a hip-hop station in the market and has been very involved with community projects. DJ Supreme is looking forward to entertaining the crowd at Albany Empire games and is excited to be back working with indoor football once again.
