Spectrum Raises Rates…. Again Next Month

As more people continue to cut the cord, Spectrum will raise rates again. I don't know how this is possible because I thought the governor told Spectrum they had to leave the state last month.

According to a Spectrum spokesperson, Spectrum Internet will go up from $54.99 to $59.99/month for current customers who subscribe to Spectrum TV. Spectrum Internet will go from $64.99 to $65.99/month for current customers who do not subscribe to Spectrum TV.

For any customer whose Spectrum Internet service is part of a promotion, the new price won't take effect until after their promotional period ends. And, there's no change to package prices of Spectrum TV or Spectrum Voice.

There was no explanation for the price increase but I think its interesting how the new price increase only affects internet subscribers and not traditional TV subscribers.

I have to do a little bit more research on to why Spectrum is still in NY and raising their rates. I'll keep you posted. Do you think Spectrum deserves more money?
