If you haven't been under a rock, you have probably heard about the filming of another unarmed black man being shot by a police officer, this time by officer Michael T. Slager.

The video went viral and now Michael T. Slager is in jail waiting to go to trial. Now the video is clear and to the point, but somehow, somewhere people feel like he is unjustly being prosecuted. They even went as far as setting up a GoFundMe page to support his cause.

GoFundMe's public relations manager, Kelsea Little, confirmed to TPM in an email that the fundraiser was removed because it violated the crowdfunding platform's terms and conditions.

However, GoFundMe's terms and conditions page states that "campaigns in defense of formal charges of heinous crimes, including violent, hateful, or sexual acts" are prohibited.

The GoFundMe also raised more than $400,000 combined for Darren Wilson, the white ex-police officer who ultimately was not indicted in the fatal shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.
