On Monday night 2 men were injured in a shooting that took place on Central Ave in Albany near Lexington Ave.

The Capital region is among many areas in the nation thats had its share of gun violence. Often times, the number of shootings spike in the summer time and probably for a variety of reasons. But the Summer hasn't even officially begun yet and here we are with our 4th shooting in a 2 week period. One incident involving a teenage boy who was shot and in another incident, tragically , a 10 yr old child was struck by a bullet. This is getting out of hand already.

According to News 10 According to police, a 23-year-old man was shot in the torso, and a 29-year-old man was shot in the foot. Both were taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Between Covid-19, national protests against police brutality and racial injustices, the capital region and the nation already have enough to deal with. 2020 has been a rough year, and if this is any indication of what the Summer is going to be like, we are in for an even rougher Summer.
