Attacks in broad daylight are becoming a frequent occurrence in the Capital Region. Thugs are becoming bolder about committing crimes. The latest victim is a 14 year old from Schenectady, who was attacked this past Sunday.

The teen was jumped and hit in the head with a blunt object around 10am Sunday in the Congress Street / Sixth Avenue area. Multiple people were said to be involved in the attack.


Due to his age, police haven’t released his name or additional details about the investigation at this time. The youngster is recovering, but in critical condition at Albany Medical Center.
