Schenectady Man Charged With Rape

A Schenectady man is charged with a sex offense. According to The Saratgion, Saratoga County Sheriff's Department arrested 19-year-old Avindra Krargie.

Avindra Khargie is accused of having sexual intercourse with a girl that he knew, was under 15 years old.  The two seem to be involved in some type of relationship because there was no allegation of force

Khargie is 19 years old and the female in question was 15  also Khargie is also alleged to have possessed under age explicit photographs of the same female.

Khargie has been arrested and released arraigned by Judge Waite in Saratoga County Court his trial date will happen later this year.
