Scarface & Willie D Speak With The Breakfast Club About New Podcast
The Legendary Scarface & Willie D both from the group Geto Boys tapped in to talk with Breakfast Club about their new upcoming podcast project.
Willie D and Scarface along with Bushwick Bill made up the group the Geto Boy formally spelled Ghetto Boys. The group was formed in 1987 with Rap A Lot Records Founder Prince J. The Geto Boys were one of the first Houston rap groups to hit the charts with their 1991 Single "My Mind Is Playing Tricks On Me". The Geto Boys went on to become legendary in Southern Hip Hop history becoming a staple in Southern Hip Hop.
The Geto Boys have teamed up in 2021 to create a podcast. The two Houston legends stop by the Breakfast Club to discuss their evolution through the music industry over the years. Scarface and Willie D reveal that their group members have never liked each other personally but overcame their differences to create hip hop history as the Geto Boys.
Scarface also discusses his upcoming liver transplant. Face's son is set to donate a kidney to the rapper later this summer. The podcast has already launched and I'm sure a lot of old history and secrets will be released during the two legends podcast.
