Playgrounds & Basketball Courts In The City Of Albany Are Closed
It looks like this weekend the weather will be nice. That doesn't mean COVID-19 isn't still a very real threat. You can go outside to exercise but we all have to practice actions to keep ourselves safe.
The City Of Albany Recreation Department has issued this notice:
Playground Equipment Closed
Playground equipment (Jungle Gyms Swings Ec) & Picnic tables are currently closed until further notice.
No Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Handball, etc unless you are complying with social distancing requirements. (keeping at least 6 feet between you and any other participants at al times)
We encourage non-contact activities like walking, biking, rollerblading and running.
We must all do our part to flatten the curve and limit every resident's exposure to COVID-19.
Even if your kids are getting on your nerves. You can't just send them out to the playground everybody has to do their part.
For more info on the playground closure and COVID-19 visit www.albanyny.gov.
