Man Arrested In Local News Bomb Threat
These are interesting times in this country and the Capital Region is not excluded. A man was arrested to calling in a bomb threat to local news outlet WNYT. The bomb threat happened last week no one was hurt but the building was evacuated and police brought bomb-sniffing dogs into the building to make sure everything was safe.
With the current state of the country calling in a bomb threat to anywhere should be treated and recognized as a real threat of terrorism and treated accordingly. The police found and arrested the man allegedly responsible for making the threats. Kenneth Barnes of Delmar is charged with making a terroristic threat, a class D felony. The station was briefly evacuated as investigators searched the building.
I'm willing to bet this was political either someone upset with the political administration or someone upset at what the news said about the political administration or both.
