Madonna has always had a close relationship with rappers, as we detailed in her hip-hop history, so it only makes sense that she would connect with some of the biggest rhymers in the game.

The pop legend sat down with Complex magazine recently and detailed her collaborations with Kanye West and Drake. She's been friends with The College Dropout spitter for years, and he worked on her new album, Rebel Heart.

"We ran into each other at a party and we got to talking and he just said, 'Where are you with your new record? I know you're making a record right now and I want to hear it,'" Madonna explained.

"He came over to my house one day and he listened to everything and he said, 'I want to do with you what Rick Rubin did with me and my album. I had almost finished it and Rick came in and basically went through every track, made comments, made things better, and strip things down,'" she added.

Kanye was only able to work on four songs, however, because he was too busy, the singer stated.

The hip mother of 4 also shared that she has a project in the works with Drake. She wasn't very specific but mentioned that's it's definitely in the "pipeline." She even addressed the Instagram photos that Drizzy posted of her earlier this year and how she loves his song "Madonna," off his mixtape, If You're Reading This It's Too Late. In one of the photos Drake said that he wanted to "ride" with her. "I answered him. I'm waiting," she said.
