Join Us at the Empire State Plaza’s Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

Join us today for the New York State Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Observance at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany.

Featuring special musical guest, 2x time Emmy Award-winning violinist Damien Escobar and keynote speaker and innovator in education, Geoffrey Canada.

Additional performances by actress and recording artist - Tina Fabrique, Gospel singer - April May Cooper with the Capital District Voices of Praise, UAlbany Chamber Singers, Miles Tone, and more.

The public is welcome to attend this free program in celebration of Dr. King. Doors open at 8:30am. The program is at 9:30.
