Jarren Benton is back with new music for 2017. He drops "Jealous Of Drake," a freestyle that featured him rapping over Nottz and Mayer Hawthorne’s “I Still Love You” from the Virginia producer’s 2010 release, You Need This Music. The Decatur MC goes off. For a little under three minutes, Jarren shows why he's a monster lyricists.

"You better lay low/Still hiding I'm wondering where the day go/I'm jealous of Drake/Because he stuck his dick into J-Lo," raps Jarren.

This is the first release since his Slow Motion, Vol. 2 he dropped last summer. The ex-Funk Volume signee's project featured contributions from Sy Ari Da Kid, Dizzy Wright, Chris Webby, M16 and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League.

The former XXL Freshman was apart of the 2014 class. He was voted onto the Freshman Class by the fans that year. We spoke to him about landing to 10th spot.

"Man, the 10th spot, I would say, is one of the illest ways to get it," he said. "The 10th spot, that’s the fans, it ain’t the politics it’s the fans. So the 10th spot, that shows you that your fuckin’ fans really fuck with you heavy if they go hard like that. And not even just fans, maybe it’s the people who aren’t accustomed to you who went out and voted. So I’d say the 10th spot is the greatest accomplishment as well, ’cause you can gauge where you at and know that the people ride hard for you, so you gotta go hard for them."
