There is a lot of construction that is coming to an end in a busy part of Rensselaer County. The first-of-its-kind chicken fast food joint and a discount grocery store will open in this area by the end of July.

Last week we found out that one of the first Chick-fil-A restaurants will be opening on July 20th at 502 North Greenbush Road in North Greenbush. But that's not the only excitement for residents in that area. They will be getting a popular discount grocery store.

Isn't There An ALDI Close By?

There is an ALDI grocery store location in Rensselaer at 307 Columbia Turnpike.

This location will close forever on Wednesday, July 26th. The ALDI grocery store will open the following day on Thursday, July 27th at 8:30 am according to News 10 ABC.

We are always looking out for the needs of our shoppers and decided to move our Rensselaer store to allow more room for added fresh, high-quality products at affordable prices, which our loyal shoppers know and love.

What's Planned For the Grand Opening?

The grand opening weekend for the new ALDI is July 27th until July 30th. There will be a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card. This new North Greenbush location will be open from 9 am until 8 pm.
