The experts at WalletHub have done a deep dive into metro areas nationwide to determine the most and least educated cities in America. These are the cities and towns across the country that attract a highly educated workforce.

To find the cities where the most residents "are putting their degrees to work," WalletHub looked at metrics like level of education (Percentage of High School & College Graduates) and the overall quality of local schools and colleges.
Coming in at #21 on WalletHub's rankings nationwide is none other than Albany-Schenectady-Troy. The tri-cities scored 18th nationwide for educational attainment and 77th nationwide for quality of education.
When I moved our family here to the Capital Region, one of the main reasons we made the move was the great school systems and overall educational opportunities. This ranking is a great reflection of the overall quality and opportunity that exists here in the 518.
