Members of the New York State Police, dressed in plain clothes, performed a sting operation recently in an attempt to thwart the sale of alcohol to minors in Saratoga County - and the results were mixed.

Of the 6 businesses unknowingly involved, two of the gas stations weren't compliant, and they have been charged with the sale of alcohol to minors.

"During the initiative, six businesses were checked for compliance. Two people were charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First degree, a class “A” misdemeanor, after selling alcohol to persons under the age of 21." NYSP Newsroom
