Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Musician Returns to the Capital Region of New York
One of the best selling live albums of all-time is "Frampton Comes Alive" by Peter Frampton. The 1976 release has sold more than 8 million copies in the United States alone and some of this album was recorded in New York State.
48 years after the release of "Frampton Comes Alive" the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer, songwriter and guitarist returns to the Empire State for a show at the Palace theatre in Albany.
Q1057 and 1035, the Capital Region's Classic Rock Station, welcomes Peter Frampton to the Palace Theatre in Albany. The show will take place on Friday September 13, 2024. Tickets for this show will go on sale to the general public on Friday June 28th at 10am. Check for tickets HERE.
The Albany stop on the Peter Frampton Positively Thankful Tour 2024 will take place just a month before Frampton is officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist. The Hall of Fame ceremony will occur on October 19th in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Peter Frampton Positively Thankful Tour will kick off on September 8th in South Carolina and the last date currently scheduled is September 23rd in Ohio. This short run however includes more than 1 New York date:
- September 12th - Beacon Theatre - Manhattan, NY
- September 13th - Palace Theatre - Albany, NY
- September 21st - Niagara Falls, NY
