Lake George Cruise Is The Perfect Way To Enjoy Fall
The Northeast is a place that gets to experience all of the seasons. While it's not the only place in the United States that gets to enjoy the full effects of spring, summer, fall, and winter it is known for it better than most. Upstate New York is one of those places that many flock to in order to enjoy those seasons. Specifically fall comes to mind when I see tourists in the area. While summers can be busy in places like Lake George, fall can be just as much with curious travelers looking to soak in those perfect views.
Over the weekend I went with my family on a cruise on Lake George to take in the amazing fall scenery that the Adirondacks offer. We chose to use the Lake George Waterfront Cruises to do so.

We chose to go on an early morning cruise aboard the Horicon. It's a two deck boat that offers plenty of amenities for you to enjoy while sailing the lake.

This particular cruise offered us unlimited coffee with the price of our admission plus a souvenir mug. It was worth that price, which was around $38 a person. The cruise also offered a full bar to purchase drinks as well as snacks. Being that we were on a cruise to enjoy the fall we had to get some cider donuts.
I have lived in the Capital Region my entire life. While I've spent a good amount of time in Lake George I've actually never been on one of the boats. It was a great experience being out on the lake and seeing the islands and other parts of the lake I don't get to see while hanging out in Lake George Village. It is one of those experiences that you have to have for yourself to understand why it is such a big part of the tourism.
Lake George is one of those places that I've always taken for granted since it is so close to Albany. After being out on that lake I can finally say, "I get it."
