New Sushi Place Set To Open Up In Schenectady

In the next couple of weeks a brand new sushi and hibachi spot will be opening up in Schenectady. To top things off they're offering big discounts for their grand opening.

Say less, right? Sushi and hibachi is always a big sell here in the Capital Region and I don't know a single person who could (or would) say no to that food. Even if you aren't a sushi fan the hibachi is there for literally everyone.

The place is called Dharma Sushi & Grill and the official opening date is going to be Thursday May 1, 2025.

These grand opening specials sound amazing. They're running them May 1-15th, so don't feel like you have to rush in to get it, but also don't take your time. They're a new local business so be sure to show all your support.

Where will they be located?

Dharma will be located on State Street in Schenectady right near where the famous Blue Ribbon Diner is in the Woodlawn neighborhood. They're in great company with some of the great local businesses over there, including RnR Tire, who I visited back in January.

It is great to have so many local places opening up when things have seen so dreary as of late. With all the big box stores closing and the stock market going up and down, having new local businesses open in our area must be a good sign. We just hope they all stick around for the long run.
