Ten New York Yankees Who Cannot Be Back After ‘Disaster’ 2023 Season
As New York Yankees' GM Brian Cashman put it earlier this week, the 2023 season in The Bronx has been nothing short of a disaster.
With just over one month remaining in the regular season, the focus has already shifted to 2024. Rookies Everson Pereira and Oswald Peraza are now playing almost every day for the big club, with former starters like Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Jake Bauers seeing a steep decrease in playing time as a result.
Now that the focus on-the-field has shifted to next season, the front office must now focus on a pivotal offseason that is quickly approaching. The franchise has some very tough decisions to make on players, and personnel, who have been with the club for long periods of time.
Depending on how drastically New York wants to alter their team ahead of the 2024 season, these are ten Yankees that should not be back in The Bronx when the team breaks camp next March.
