Denver Broncos @ Detroit Lions, 8:15 (SAT), NFL Network

The college football regular season concluding isn’t all that bad.

Now we get to sit back and enjoy some Saturday NFL. The last of those three games being this one. Detroit comes into this spot off an ugly road loss to their divisional rival Bears. Goff has struggled mightily on the road in his career, but at Ford Field he’s been elite.

In 17 starts in the last two seasons, the QB has gone for 4,568 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Those are MVP level numbers. Sean Payton and the Broncos won’t keep up with a hungry Lions team here.

PICK: Lions -4.5

Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots, 1:00, FOX

These two teams are nowhere near where they wanted to be at this point in the season.

Mahomes was just about the angriest we’ve ever seen him on a football field this past Sunday, after an offsides call that negated one of the more impressive touchdowns of the regular season. Mahomes and the Chiefs have never lost three straight games, and they get an opponent here that they could feast on.

Belichick is seemingly out the door after this season, and now gets a date with a pissed off Andy Reid and Pat Mahomes. The Chiefs defense has also only allowed more than 22 points in just two games this season, with Zappe up next to the plate, him being the third one to do it is something that I can’t picture. Mahomes and this KC team roll here.

Chicago Bears @ Cleveland Browns, 1:00, FOX

The Browns are as hot as they have been all season on offense with Deshaun Wat– Joe Flacco?...

Flacco has officially taken command of this Browns team and the locker room. This week, they welcome in a Bears team who have won three of their last four and covered in three straight. It’s rare that we see a team whose starting quarterback and head coach are playing for their jobs, but that’s what we have here with Chicago.

Fields has been playing clean football in the second half of the season, and I expect that to continue here. Chicago’s pass rush since the addition of Montez Sweat has improved mightily, and Flacco at this stage in his career, is a statue in the pocket.

PICK: Bears +3

San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals, 4:05, CBS

It’s seeming that this 49ers team is the one that’ll finally get Shanahan that elusive Super Bowl ring that he’s been chasing since he’s taken over back in 2017.

The Niners haven’t been afraid to run up the score in their ten wins this year, covering this number (12.5) in eight of those. The Cardinals on the other hand, are fresh off a bye and are seemingly out of the Caleb Williams sweepstakes.

While Kyler hasn’t looked as good as he ever has, the emergence of some of his young weapons on offense have made it easier on him returning from his torn ACL. I’m confident the Cards keep up with this high flying Niners team in this one, losing a relatively close one Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys @ Buffalo Bills, 4:25, FOX

Has anyone in the league looked better than Dak Prescott and these Cowboys over the last five weeks?

Prescott is now the odds on favorite to win this year’s MVP, and with good reason. They haven’t scored less than 28 in two months, and now get a road date with the Bills. Josh Allen has been playing some of his best football over the last three weeks with new offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

Allen and the Bills need every game from here on out, and have been playing incredible football in Orchard Park this year, winning five of six, averaging 26 points per game. The Cowboys face their toughest challenge in a long time, and the Bills will certainly be ready for it.
