Huerter is no stranger to being featured in viral basketball videos. This video, featuring him hitting a game-winning three-pointer to cap off a 30-point night, also went viral online because of the incredible crowd reaction:

It's been exciting to watch Huerter blossom into an NBA mainstay over his six seasons in the league. The former Mr. New York Basketball attended Maryland after graduating from Shen, and after two years with the Terrapins, he declared for the NBA Draft.

Huerter was chosen by Atlanta with the 19th overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft. He spent four seasons with the Hawks before being traded to the Kings, and is currently in his second season with Sacramento.

In 46 games, 41 of which he has started, Huerter is averaging 10.9 points per game, and is shooting 36.4% from three-point range. He and his team have a record 29-19, good enough for 5th in the Western Conference.

Huerter has two more seasons remaining on his contract after 2023-24, after which he will be an unrestricted free agent, and can sign with any team in the league.
