Nothing makes me happier than seeing Kevin Huerter succeed in the NBA. The Clifton Park native has found a new home this season with the Sacramento Kings.

Kevin Huerter had an impressive debut on Wednesday with his new team. Huerter was traded in August from Atlanta to Sacramento, and went out with 23 points.

After months of reading and talking, I now consider myself a Capital Region sports fan. I learned these ten stories along the way, and want you to learn them now.

The NBA's Atlanta Hawks have been busy making trades this week. Friday, after adding All-Star guard Dejounte Murray from the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, Atlanta sent a Capital Region favorite out west in a puzzling move.

MJ and I were joined by Kevin Huerter of the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA. We were also joined by Matt Bergevin of the Albany Dutchmen.

Life is pretty good when you are a World Series champion in the city of Atlanta or any city for that matter! You are almost ensured the best seats in the house. When your old buddy from high school is the shooting guard for the local NBA team, well then you two have each other covered with those good seats!

Now we love to go local here on Big Board Sports and the two teams we care about most locally are the Brooklyn Nets and the Atlanta Hawks.

Atlanta is not beating Miami, if they can’t get other players involved in the offense when Trae Young is having an off night. Why not feature Kevin Huerter?
