Home Ownership WorkShop At Schenectady Boys & Girls Club

The Breathing Lights Project has been illuminating vacant properties around the Capital District with the goal of bringing attention to the issue of urban blight. Another aspect of the project has involved educating residents within these areas about the requirements of home ownership with various workshops.

This Tuesday, the third and final workshop will be at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady (400 Craig Street). This FREE workshop will educate attendees about the basics of qualifying for and obtaining mortgages, advice on how to work with realtors, and more.

Best of all, because the workshop creators are aware of factors which can often get in the way of attending an important, free food and childcare will be available.
