Forever 21 In Crossgates Mall In Danger Of Closing 

Forever 21 just filed for bankruptcy, the fashion retailer owns 549 stores in the USA and 251 locations worldwide. With the announcement, the fashion retailer released a list of 180 potential locations that could close as a result of the bankruptcy. While all the Forever 21 chains may not close the store located inside of the Crossgates mall is on the list of potentially closing locations.

The list is comprised of the 180 most unprofitable stores in the U.S. Are you surprised to see the Capital Region location on the list, the store always seems busy? The company is currently working on a deal that may keep the locations open or they may remove a couple from the list and make a new list. The low sales are probably a result of a lot of consumers switching over to online shopping. One thing is for certain the future of the Crossgate Mall location is very questionable.
