February Hometown Hero Is A True Life Saver
Blaine Neary is a volunteer firefighter with the town of Melrose and a paid EMT in Hoosick Valley. It was his quick thinking, however, at is own home that saved the life of a woman that means more to him than any other person on the planet. His own mother. After listening to his incredible story and hearing more about this ambitious 20 year old, you'll know why Blaine Neary is February's Hometown Hero.
It's one thing to go to work as a firefighter or EMT everyday and save complete strangers. It's quite another thing to be forced into a situation where you're saving the life of your own mom. Blaine Neary embodies every single thing you'd want in a true Hometown Hero. He's humble, hard-working, ambitious and passionate about what he does and the people he serves. Thank you Blaine for doing all you do in the town of Melrose and Hoosick Valley and thank you for inspiring us.
County Waste has partnered with us to honor those in our communities who are truly making a difference.
