Fashawn Drops the Politically Charged ‘Mother Amerikkka’ Video [WATCH]

Fashawn dropped the video for "Mother Amerikkka," a song that he released last year for his upcoming Manna EP.

In the clip, the Fresno lyricist walks around Los Angeles looking at some of the blight and those who struggle.

"At times I wish I could've stayed in the womb / Somebody, anybody, what's the worth of a black life or even a brown one? / I heard they get found son when his noodle's hanging outside of his dome / Mama gotta pay for the funeral, need a loan / She'll be lucky if his murder even make the news / I feel a pain like Billy when she sing the blues," he spits.

Fashawn also dropped a provocative line in the song about Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Kylie Jenner being the new KKK, which he talked about in a past interview.

"I think Kim, Kylie and Kanye collectively probably have more followers on social media than the Ku Klux Klan have in real life," he said. "A legion of people who would probably turn America upside down if they asked them to. I wanted to acknowledge their power and influence with that line. In no ways was I trying to be derogatory or disrespectful."

Fashawn's Manna EP — dropping Aug. 18 — follows his album The Ecology, which he released shortly after inking a deal with Nas' Mass Appeal Records. He also released a documentary for the project.
