Veteran hitmaker Diddy is bringing his musical magic to Rick Ross’ upcoming album, 'Mastermind.' The rap mogul is the executive producer for the effort, due March 4.

It’s only right that Diddy and Rozay work together since they have been business partners for several years. Plus, the music executive has been at the forefront of the rap game for over 20 years.

"Diddy is one of the greatest producers of all time and someone I respect," said Ross in a press release. "He has a proven track record of not only creating hit records but also classic albums. It just made sense for me to have him be a part of this process."

True indeed. Diddy has executive produced 85 albums during his music career, including classic albums like Notorious B.I.G.’s 1994 LP 'Ready to Die' and his own 1997 album 'No Way Out,' which sold over 7 million copies.

"It’s a team effort. Ross, [DJ Khaled], Gucci Pucci and I are like a family," said Diddy. "The goal for 'Mastermind' was to create a classic album. Once we put all our superpowers together we knew there was nothing stopping us from accomplishing our goal."

Ross is set to release his new single, ‘War Ready,’ featuring his former rival Jeezy, on Feb. 11. The Miami rhymer just revealed his colorful artwork for the deluxe version of the LP.
