Did You Know Today Was Earth Day?

I had completly forgot today was earth day. I was driving down the back roads from my mother house and I kept seeing people in orange vests with garbage bags cleaning up the side of the road. Since it was nice out all day today I headed to the river and what do you know more people helping out keeping the capital region cleaned.

For those that dont know what Earth Day is its a day to help end plastic pollution that is threating our wildlife and marine life.

People all over the world came together and organzied there own cleaning teams to help clean up and keep there communities clean.

Today was a day that was much needed, now if only earth day happened more often planet earth would be sqweeky clean.
