Chance the Rapper is filling in the hip-hop game with new music with the release of his highly anticipated mixtape, Coloring Book.

The mixtape, which was previously called Chance 3, was released on Friday (May 13). Like the name hints, Coloring Book draws an assortment of colors as well as sounds, vibes, genres and features.

Among the all-star guests who appear on Chance's third mixtape include Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Future, Jay Electronica, T-Pain and Kirk Franklin.

As a follow-up to 2012’s 10 Day and 2013’s Acid Rap, the mixtape is already gaining high praise from listeners.

"[Chance the Rapper]'s Coloring Book is really good. last hip hop mixtape/album I enjoyed this much on first listen was Good Kid, Maad City," tweeted Washington Post reporter Wesley Lowry.

In an interview with Complex magazine, the 23-year-old rhymer said that this mixtape is "way better" than Surf, his collaborative effort with Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment last year.

“This stuff is way better than Surf,” he said. “I’ll say that on record. Donnie [Trumpet] is awesome, and the project was awesome, but this is all of us focusing our efforts into some very hip-hop and very dance-y s---, and it feels good. So I’m excited about that.”
