Beer Made With Donuts And Fruity Pebbles Is Coming To The Capital District.

A combination that would make Homer Simpson’s mouth water…donuts and beer. Empire Brewing Company is teaming up with Glazed and Confused donut shop to make a specialty beer with donuts and Fruity Pebbles.

The beer that will be available in mid-August is called Bedrock Wit It Ale. Why, well the mash contains the normal wheat that you find in tons of other beers and then they add 30 pounds of Fruity Pebbles and three dozen donuts to the mix. Then it all goes into a 700 gallon vat to ferment.

Sounds like a prefect breakfast beer to me! Look for it soon in the Upstate.
