A$AP Ferg premiered his new single "Tango" on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show, where he also broke down the meaning of the song.

"Tango is basically a record, like, when people be dancing around with their words," he explained. "You can't dance around with your words no more. You got to give it straight to them. You got to give it to them blood raw. You can't be like dancing around the questions and answers. You just kind of have to give it straight up how it is."

Lyrically, the Harlem rapper gets personal in the song and opens up about the passing of his father and how it affected his family.

"Just found out my daddy died for the wrong reasons / It wasn't the kidney that took him it was the bad treatment / Ain't go to court because our heart was still bleeding / Family still grieving, no money can fix the pain that we're feeling," he spit.

Ferg also revealed that his forthcoming album Still Striving will include features from Rick Ross, French Montana, Cam'ron, Meek Mill, Busta Rhymes, Dave East, MadeinTYO, Snoop Dogg and of course A$AP Rocky.

On top of the new single and album, the Trap Lord and Remy Ma just released the video to their "East Coast" song, and a couple of weeks after that Ferg joined artists like Wu-Tang Clan and Childish Gambino at the 2017 Governors Ball. He also dropped the cut "Wrong" with A$AP Rocky a couple of weeks ago, which we shared.
