50 Cent decided to poke at Jim Jones after the Harlem rapper’s name was mentioned during 6ix9ine’s testimony during a federal trial against reputed Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack.

On Thursday (Sept. 19), Fif jumped in the comment section of The Shade Room's Instagram account, which posted images of tweets from reporter Matthew Russell Lee, who was live-tweeting from the courtroom at Manhattan's Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse earlier today. In one image, where it shows that the reporter said 6ix9ine testified that Jones is a retired rapper and a member of Nine Trey Bloods gang, 50 wrote in the comments, "he said jimmy a retired rapper yo. LOL," along with a laughing emoji.

The comments from 50, who performed in Saudi Arabia this summer, came shortly after the court played a recorded phone call between Jones and alleged Nine Trey godfather Jamel "Mel Murda" Jones. According to New York Daily News reporter Stephen Brown, Jones told Mel Murda the following: "He's not a gang member no more. He was never a gang member. They going to have to violate shorty because shorty is on some bullshit."

Many people believe Jones was talking about Tekashi, but that much hasn't been confirmed.
